FAQ – Online Appointments (Basel)
Which appointments can I book online?
Depending on availability, you can book online: initial consultation/new patients, check-ups, dental hygiene, pain assessment, as well as consultations for implants and reconstructions. If you’re unsure, choose “Initial consultation”.
I have acute pain — what should I book?
For acute issues, book “Pain / Emergency” or the earliest available appointment. If you have severe pain, swelling or fever, please contact us directly via the emergency page.
What should I bring to the initial consultation?
Helpful items include: a medication list, known allergies, any existing X-rays/documents, and insurance/accident details if relevant. If you don’t have documents, that’s not a problem.
How does online booking work?
Select the appropriate appointment, confirm date/time and enter your contact details. You will then receive a confirmation. If we have any questions (e.g., for complex requests), we’ll briefly get in touch.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes. Please use the link in your booking confirmation or contact us directly. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is to offer the slot to someone else.
Do you offer appointments for anxious patients?
Yes. Please choose “Initial consultation” and mention your anxiety in the notes field. We plan enough time for explanations, breaks if needed, and a calm appointment flow.
Which languages are spoken at the practice?
We can support you in German, English and Italian. If you prefer a specific language, please note it briefly in the comments.
Will I receive a cost overview before treatment?
For planned treatments, we usually discuss options transparently and—depending on scope—provide a written quote after diagnostics.
How long does an implant or reconstruction consultation take?
Complex cases sometimes require more time. Please book “Initial consultation” or “Implant consultation” (if available). We’ll then review diagnostics, options and the treatment pathway in a structured way.
Where is the practice located?
Our practice is in Basel (Greifengasse 1). Travel details can be found on the “Dental Practice in Basel” page.
