For many years, I have dedicated myself to dentistry with great passion—guided by the goal of providing each person with treatment that is functionally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and biologically compatible. In my practice on Greifengasse in Basel, I combine modern technology with high standards of precision, long-term sustainability, and empathy.


Nach meinem Studium an der Universität Basel (2013 eidgenössiches Diplom und der mehrjährigen spezialisierten Ausbildung zum Fachzahnarzt für rekonstruktive Zahnmedizin durfte ich mein Wissen in der Implantologie und ästhetischen Zahnmedizin vertiefen. Die Freude an Qualität, Details und wissenschaftlich fundierter Arbeit begleitet mich bis heute – ebenso wie der Wunsch, meine Patientinnen und Patienten individuell zu begleiten und gemeinsam langfristige Lösungen zu gestalten.


Ich glaube fest daran, dass Vertrauen, Zeit und gute Kommunikation die Basis jeder erfolgreichen Behandlung sind. Deshalb steht bei uns nicht die einzelne Zahnbehandlung im Vordergrund, sondern der Mensch dahinter – mit seiner Geschichte, seinen Bedürfnissen und seinem Lächeln.

Short Profile

Dr. Thomas J. W. Gasser is a dentist licensed in Switzerland and a Swiss and European board-certified specialist in Reconstructive Dentistry (EPA/SSRD). Trained at the Universities of Basel and Zurich, he earned a MAS in Oral Implantology and completed his doctoral degree (Dr. med. dent.) with clinical research focusing on peri-implant soft tissues and prosthetic rehabilitation. After postgraduate training positions and teaching appointments at the University of Zurich, he took over the leadership of one of Basel’s oldest dental practices at the Mittlere Brücke. His clinical focus includes reconstructive and implant dentistry as well as general dentistry. He lectures for various organizations, including ITI, and is Co-Director of the ITI Study Club Basel City.
