Ein Frontzahn kann beispielsweise durch Fraktur, tiefe strukturelle Schädigung oder eine nicht mehr beherrschbare Entzündung seine Erhaltungsfähigkeit verlieren. Vor der Entscheidung für ein Sofortimplantat werden klinischer Befund und dreidimensionale Anatomie sorgfältig beurteilt.
Digitale und chirurgische Planung
Fotografie, intraorale Scans und – wenn indiziert – ein DVT helfen, Implantatposition und prothetisches Ziel gemeinsam zu planen. Die spätere Krone bestimmt dabei die ideale Implantatposition, nicht umgekehrt.
Die Herausforderung
Ein Frontzahn kann beispielsweise durch Fraktur, tiefe strukturelle Schädigung oder eine nicht mehr beherrschbare Entzündung seine Erhaltungsfähigkeit verlieren. Vor der Entscheidung für ein Sofortimplantat werden klinischer Befund und dreidimensionale Anatomie sorgfältig beurteilt.
Zahnentfernung, Implantat und Provisorium
Der Zahn wird möglichst atraumatisch entfernt. Wenn die anatomischen Voraussetzungen stimmen, kann das Implantat unmittelbar eingesetzt werden. Häufig wird der Zwischenraum zum Knochen gezielt augmentiert und das Weichgewebe mit einem sorgfältig geformten Provisorium unterstützt. Das Provisorium dient vor allem der Ästhetik und Formgebung und wird in der Einheilphase nicht wie ein definitiver Zahn belastet.
Das Ergebnis
Nach der Einheilung wird die definitive Krone so gestaltet, dass sie sich in Form, Farbe und Lichtwirkung in die Nachbarzähne einfügt. Besonders im Frontzahnbereich ist ein gutes Ergebnis das Zusammenspiel aus Implantatposition, Knochen, Zahnfleisch und Zahntechnik.
